- Sebastian Elizaide, 1B: 2-for-5, 3 R, 2 RBI, .267/.333/.400
A third-inning grand slam from Mason Williams helped pave the way for a 10-1 blowout win for Syracuse over Rochester. The Mets offense amounted 14 hits in the seven-inning game, including three from Williams.
Drew Ferguson also contributed to the six-run third with an RBI single.
- Seth Lugo, RHP: 1.0 IP, H, BB, 2 K, 2.70 ERA
- Thomas Szapucki, LHP: 4.0 IP, 5 H, R, 5 BB, 3 K, 2.12 ERA
After the Red Wings scored a run in the first inning, the Syracuse pitching staff wouldn’t allow another run across the plate in the final six innings. The Mets saw a strong relieving performance from right-hander Marcel Rentería as he struck out three and allowed no hits or runs through two innings of work.
Seth Lugo also saw some action as he closed out Syracuse’s win with a two-strikeout performance in the final inning in his fourth rehab game.
AAA: Syracuse Mets (7-16) 2, Rochester Red Wings (6-17) 0 (Game 2)
- Drew Jackson, 3B: 3-for-4, 2 R, RBI, .259/.394/.534
- Mason Williams, CF: 1-for-4, 2 SO, .373/.458/.569
After a dominant offensive performance in game one, the Syracuse Mets saw no multi-run innings but two runs was enough in a 2-0 victory over Rochester. The Mets were led in hitting by Drew Jackson who hit a solo homer in the third to put Syracuse on the board.
David Thompson‘s RBI-double in the fifth provided Syracuse with its second run and gave Thompson his second hit on the night.
- Franklyn Kilome, RHP: 7.0 IP, H, 3 BB, 7 K, 4.01 ERA
Righty Franklyn Kilome had a phenomenal night on the mound as he was one out away from securing a seven-inning no-hitter but his bid ended thanks to a Red Wing single. Nevertheless, Kilome struck out the final batter and secured his first win in Triple-A.
AA: Akron RubberDucks (15-7) 7, Binghamton Rumble Ponies (4-18) 1 (Game 1)
- Jake Mangum, CF: 3-for-3, .290/.333/.484
- David Rodríguez, C: 1-for-3, R, .200/.391/.457
A second-inning RBI-double from Luis Carpio was not enough for the Rumble Ponies as they fell to the RubberDucks in Game 1 of Saturday’s doubleheader. Jake Mangum accounted for half of Binghamton’s hits as he went 3-for-3 on the afternoon but all of his hits came with no runners on base.
- Tylor Megill, RHP: 4.1 IP, 6 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 2 BB, 9 K, 3.12 ERA
- Dan Goggin, RHP: 2.1 IP, 3 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 3 BB, 2 K, HR, 12.60 ERA

AA: Akron RubberDucks (16-7) 7, Binghamton Rumble Ponies 6 (Game 2)
- Carlos Cortes, LF: 2-for-5, R, 2 RBI, SO, HR, .250/.333/.463
- Hayden Senger, C: 2-for-4, RBI, SO, .298/.349/.561
Despite outhitting Akron 8-5, the Rumble Ponies were unable to keep up in extra innings as they fell to the Rubberducks in 11 innings. The game was originally set for seven innings.
Carlos Cortes led the Ponies in hitting as he hit two RBIs, including a solo shot in the seventh that forced extras. Binghamton went back and forth with Akron for the majority of extras but couldn’t match the RubberDucks’ run in the 11th.
- Adam Oller, RHP: 5.1 IP, 2 H, 4 R, 2 ER, 4 BB, 6 K, 5.18 ERA
- Jared Robinson, RHP: 2.2 IP, H, 2 BB, 4 K, 5.56 ERA
The Binghamton pitching staff had a decent night on the mound after only allowing five hits through 11 innings. However, most of these hits turned out to be timely for Akron. The Rumble Ponies combined for 12 strikeouts on the night.

- Luke Ritter, 2B: 2-for-3, R, RBI, .246/.274/.449
- Francisco Álvarez, DH: 1-for-3, SO, .167/.154/.167
Other than a fourth-inning solo home run from Luke Ritter, the Cyclones couldn’t muster up much more in a 4-1 loss to the IronBirds. The Brooklyn offense had a tough time hitting against the Aberdeen pitching staff as the Cyclones went down 1-2-3 in five innings.
Top-prospect Francisco Álvarez had a lone hit in the seventh with a lead-off single, but Brett Baty and Ronny Mauricio couldn’t make contact with no hits at Maimonides Park.
- Alec Kisena, RHP: 2.1 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 6 K, 6.43 ERA

- Shervyen Newton, SS: 1-for-3, R, RBI, SO, .183/.292/.280
Despite a 3-homer performance from St. Lucie, the Mets could not match Daytona’s 4-run third inning in Game 1 of Saturday’s doubleheader at Clover Park.
St. Lucie’s home runs came from Jose Peroza in the fifth, Shervyen Newton in the sixth and Cole Kleszcz in the seventh. However, the Mets couldn’t find another extra-base hit or run in the seven-inning game. Despite the loss, a bright spot in game one was Peroza’s three-hit performance.
- Luis Moreno, RHP: 2.1 IP, 4 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 2 BB, 3 K, 6.14 ERA
- Franklin Parra, LHP: 3.2 IP, 2 H, 2 BB, 2 K, 7.04 ERA
After a 1-2-3 first for Luis Moreno, the 22-year-old righty quickly fell apart in the second and third innings as he allowed five runs in 2.1 innings pitched. However, Franklin Parra and Brendan Hardy relieved well as the bullpen duo combined for just three hits and zero runs allowed in the game’s last 4.2 innings.
A: St. Lucie Mets (15-8) 9, Daytona Tortugas (12-11) 3 (Game 2)
- Jose Peroza, 3B: 2-for-4, 2 R, 5 RBI, SO, HR, .263/.432/.439
- Jaylen Palmer, 2B: 2-for-4, R, RBI, SO, .239/.333/.282

Jimmy Titus also put up good numbers in game two as he went 3-for-3 with an RBI. Peroza and Titus combined for three RBIs in the sixth as those runs helped solidify the win for St. Lucie.
