Tonight, the final game of the Subway Series between the New York Mets and New York Yankees will take place at Citi Field at 7:10 p.m. Steven Matz has the ball for the Mets and will toe up against Luis Severino.
Last night, the Mets lost 5-3 in another game decided late. The Mets manufactured some runs to stay in it but the Yankees offense was able to best them late in the game. Robert Gsellman was good for the first five innings but struggled in the sixth. Aaron Judge hit a home run that hasn’t landed yet and set the record for most consecutive games with a strikeout by a position player.
