Matt Harvey will make his fourth Grapefruit League start of the Spring as the New York Mets host the New York Yankees at Tradition Field on Sunday at 1:10 PM. The game will be televised on SNY. Harvey is expected to throw 75 pitches and will be opposed by C.C. Sabathia for the Yankees.

Pitching coach Dan Warthen said the Mets are eyeing 75 pitches from Harvey which looks to be about five innings.

In his last start against the Boston Red Sox, Harvey was dominating, tossing four scoreless innings and allowing just three hits and striking out three. He has a 2.08 ERA this spring.

Bobby Parnell pitched in his first game for the first time since Tommy John surgery. Parnell threw 20 pitches (11 strikes) in a minor league intrasquad game in Port St. Lucie, a team spokesman said. Parnell gave up two hits.

Manager Terry Collins pledged to give Matt Reynolds a chance to start on Sunday against the New York Yankees at second base and so he has. General manager Sandy Alderson said Reynolds and Daniel Muno are the contenders for the Opening Day assignment at the position if Daniel Murphy starts the season on the DL.
