The Mets lost again last night, this time leaving a small army on the bases as they fell to the Dodgers 5-2. Overall on the night the Mets were 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position and left seven batters on bases which together creates an inexcusable loss by three runs. As a positive for the night, Bautista hit a homer.

Kershaw pitched from March 29 to May 1. Then missed a month of starts making an outing against the Phillies allowing one run over five innings on May 31. He went out again and now he’s back. He faced the Mets last year in LA and it was one of his worst starts of the season allowing six runs over 6.1 innings from six hits and a walk while allowing four homers.
