The Mets squeaked away with a win last night walking right up to the edge (literally walking). After squeezing out a second run, a go-ahead run, the Mets took a 2-1 lead to the bottom of the 9th. Familia proceeded to walk the first two batters and then Reyes made a play on a ball that probably would have rolled foul to load the bases. Bases loaded. No outs. The Cubs then made one out and then the Mets were able to turn the game-ending, double play. It would have been a crushing game to lose and instead the Mets won in exciting fashion. Now the Mets look forward to taking the series behind Bartolo Colon.
