The New York Mets saw their eight-game winning streak end on Tuesday night by those pesky Miami Marlins, setting up the rubber match for tonight at Citi Field.

The Mets will tap on their hottest starting pitcher Bartolo Colon (14-11, 4.13 ERA) and he will be opposed by Adam Conley (3-1, 4.93 ERA) for the Marlins. First pitch is at 7:10 PM.

Ready To Rumble: The Mets announced that Steven Matz, Noah Syndergaard and Matt Harvey will start this weekend against the Yankees in the Subway Series.

Bartolo Colon: Had his career-high scoreless innings streak snapped at 31.0 in his last start at Atlanta. It was the longest within one season in major league history by a pitcher age 42 or older, breaking the mark of 27.0 innings which had been shared by Hall of Famers Cy Young (1909) and Warren Spahn (1963).

Travis d’Arnaud: Has 41 RBI in 53 games this year, including 10 RBI in his last nine games. The Mets are 35-17 when he starts. D’Arnaud is hitting .415 (17-41) with three home runs and 11 RBI in 12 games this month.
