Minor League Notes
- Noah Syndergaard threw five innings, giving up just two runs on three hits, walked three and struck out eight. He lost the game and now is 8-7, 4.27 ERA.
- Matt Reynolds had half of the 51s hits with two singles in four at bats.
- Steven Matz dropped his fourth game for the B-Mets, but a game where he tossed seven innings, allowing just one run on six hits, walking two and striking out four, he surely deserved a better fate.
- Juan Centeno singled to extend his hitting streak to four games.
- Jacob Lugo tossed seven innings, allowing two runs on seven hits, with three walks and four strikeouts and dropped his season record to 7-2. Two of the hits he gave up were home runs.
- L.J. Mazzilli had the only two hits on Sunday for St. Lucie, finishing 2 for 3.
- Akeel Morris tossed one scoreless inning, allowing a hit and striking out one for his 15th save and lowered his decreasing ERA to 0.67. He has not given up a run in 14 appearances.
