Mauricio continued the great start to his season with a multi-hit game, including an RBI single in the bottom of the third. It is his third game with three or more hits this year.

As for Vientos, he now has three hits in a game three times this year. Cedrola got the scoring started with a leadoff home run in the first.

Bundy was pounding the strike zone in this game, but he ended up allowing four home runs in a no-decision. Muckenhirn allowed his first run of the year in his fifth relief appearance for the Mets.

The lone RBI for the Rumble Ponies that came on a hit was an RBI single by Rudick in the top of the fifth. Schwartz ended up extending his hit streak to six games. As a team, the Rumble Ponies ended up striking out ten times in the loss.

It was a rough start to the night for Vasil as he allowed four runs in the first two innings. However, he was able to recover as he struck out six of the final 11 batters he faced. He has 20 strikeouts to one walk in his first three starts at Double-A. In relief, Kubichek has now had back-to-back outings in which he has thrown three scoreless innings since being promoted from High-A Brooklyn.

High-A

The hero of the day for the Cyclones was Ramírez as his walk-off single in the bottom of the 11th sent the Cyclones fans home happy. That hit also extended his hit streak to nine games and his 16 hits on the year are tied for the third most in the South Atlantic League.

Suozzi was the lone Cyclone to have a multi-hit game and he has recorded at least one hit in four of the five games played in this series. With the two stolen bases by De Los Santos, he is now tied for the South Atlantic League with nine.

In his first start of the season, Geber bounced back after he allowed 10 runs on 13 hits over 5 2/3 innings pitched against Winston-Salem on April 16. The 23-year-old right-hander only allowed one extra-base hit in a quality outing. Ramos struck out 6 of the 11 batters he faced, which was the most he has had since he was with the GCL Pirates in 2021. As for Rodriguez, it was his first win as a pitcher in his career.

Low-A

While the St. Lucie Mets only struck out four times in the game, they went 0-for-6 with men in scoring position as they have lost their third game in a row. The lone bright spot might be Williams, who recorded a hit for the fourth-straight game in the series.

Atencio had a tough time with his command on Saturday as he had a season-high five walks and he has nine in his first three starts of the year. Ankeney did have a pitch clock violation, but he has not allowed a run in five outings dating back to last year in the FCL and the 20th-round pick in 2022. He also walked a batter today for the first time in his professional career.
