It was a quiet night for the bats on the farm for the Mets, but a handful of strong pitching performances were exciting to track from Wednesday night. Emilio Obispo delivered a strong outing for Brooklyn; he got exactly what he ordered after working through a rough patch at the High-A level. Noah Hall struck out three over five scoreless innings in Binghamton’s shutout win.

Four combined hits for Brooklyn led to a quiet night; four different Cyclones picked up hits, including recently promoted Aiden Robbins. He was moved up to Brooklyn at the top of the month. Elian Peña has gotten off to a slow start at High-A, batting .192 through 13 games.
Colin Houck has been on a tear lately, picking up a hit in seven of his last nine games played, leaving the yard on Wednesday to add to it.

Emilio Obispo had a much-needed bounce-back start after surrendering a personal high of four runs allowed last start. He struck out three over five innings and surrenders the lone earned run.
Juan Arnaud‘s scoreless streak for the entire month of August seems to have trailed into September; he has been outstanding since the start of August.

Branny De Oleo has been great since Aug 27, with a hit in his last six games; after Wednesday, he is now batting .500 (8-for-16) during that stretch. Reaching base four times in the game Wednesday, he aims to end his season off on a strong note.

A rough outing for Ethan Lanthier as he gives up five runs while striking out four. Lanthier has struggled in his last three starts, allowing 13 ER over his last 11 2/3 innings. Ernesto Mercedes came up big for St. Lucie as he shut down the Hammerheads over an inning and two-thirds.
