Double-A

The Rumble Ponies big offense inning came in the top of the first when they scored four runs against Richard Fittsthanks to a double by Gomez, a single by Mcllwain, and a home run from Ruiz: Peroza added an insurance run with a home run in the eighth to extend his hit streak to six games.

Here's Mets pitching prospect Dominic Hamel striking out Jasson Domínguez on three pitches.
Hamel, the Mets 3rd rounder in 2021, is 5th in the Double-A Eastern League with his 30.0 K%.

This start by Hamel was by far his best start at Double-A so far. The 24-year-old did not have a walk for the first time in five starts this year and he reached a new season-high in strikeouts. Plus, it is the first time he’s gone five innings in any outing this year.
Hall was sent back down to Double-A, but he has yet to allow a run for any affiliate in seven appearances this year and he has recorded at least one strikeout in each outing.
High-A
Brooklyn Cyclones (8-11) 4, Aberdeen IronBirds (7-14) 2
- C Kevin Parada: 1-for-4, R, 2B, RBI (5), K (.760 OPS)
- CF Stanley Consuegra: 2-for-4, 3B, RBI (15), SB, 2 K (.919 OPS)
- 1B Jaylen Palmer: 2-or-3, 2 R, SB, BB (.682 OPS)
- DH Drake Osborn: 2-for-3, 2B, RBI (3), BB (.367 OPS)
- LF Alex Ramírez: 1-for-3, R, 2B, K (.724 OPS)
- RF Omar De Los Santos: 0-for-3, BB, SB (.579 OPS)
Parada was the hero for the Cyclones on Wednesday as his RBI double in the bottom of the seventh broke a 2-2 tie. It was the third straight game that he has recorded a double:
After Aberdeen got things even in the top of the 7th, Kevin Parada gives Brooklyn the edge with this RBI double off the left field wall. It's the @TDBank_US Double of the Game and Brooklyn now leads 3-2.#AmazinStartsHere #LGM #MiLB pic.twitter.com/e1gbYffFZc

Consuegra had an RBI triple in the fifth and he recorded his fourth multi-hit game of the season. De Los Santos stole his 13th base, which put him in solo second in the South Atlantic League in that category.
- RHP Jeffrey Colon (6.46 ERA): 6 2/3 IP, 1 ER, 6 H, BB, 7 K (64 of 92 pitches for strikes)
- RHP Jace Beck (1-1, 4.26): 1 2/3 IP, 1 ER. 1 H, 2 BB, 5 K (21 of 40 pitches for strikes)
- RHP Paul Gervase (0.00 ERA, save): 2/3 IP, BB (9 of 15 pitches for strikes)
Colon was able to pitch past the fourth inning for the first time this year and managed to only allow one extra-base hit (double by Jackson Holliday). He got seven groundball outs and his seven strikeouts were the most he has had since August 28, 2022 (9).
Despite only throwing a little more than half his pitches for strikes, Beck struck out five batters for the second time in five appearances this year.
Low-A
Jupiter Hammerheads (14-9) 7, St. Lucie Mets (5-18) 5
- LF Abraham Almonte (rehab assignment): 2-for-2, 2B, BB (1.636 OPS)
- CF Wilfredo Lara: 2-for-4, R, CS (1.000 OPS)
- 3B Junior Tilien: 1-for-4 (.762 OPS)
- 1B Yeral Martinez: 1-for-4, R, 2B, 3 RBIs (4), K (.358 OPS)
- RF Adrian Hernandez: 1-for-4, RBI (5), (.465 OPS)
- SS Jett Williams: 0-for-5, 4 K (.795 OPS)
Outside of a five-run ninth inning, it was not a great night for the St. Lucie offense as they lost their eighth straight game. Martinez had a bases-clearing double in the ninth to extend his hit streak to four games. Lara got the start in center field in his second game at Low-A.
- RHP Christian Scott (rehab assignment): 2 IP, 2 ER, 4 H, 3 K (22 of 30 pitches for strikes)
- RHP Daison Acosta (rehab assignment); 1 2/3 IP, 0 ER, 1 H, BB, K, HBP (11 of 24 pitches for strikes)
- RHP Jawilme Ramirez (3.22): 5 1/3 IP, 5 R (3 ER), 7 H, 4 K, Pitch Timer Violation (65 of 80 pitches for strikes).
Scott made his first rehab start for St. Lucie and allowed a two-run single in the top of the second. He ended up allowing four of the first five hitters in the second to reach base via singles. Acosta was also on a rehab assignment.
