MMO has learned that the Mets have called up right-handed pitcher Scott Copeland from Triple-A Las Vegas. The Mets have not announced a corresponding move yet and the team will also need to add him to the 40-man roster.

The 30-year old has made five starts between Double-A Binghmaton and Triple-A Las Vegas this season and has gone 4-0 with a 3.81 ERA, 1.41 WHIP, and 21 strikeouts in 28 1/3 innings.

Copeland appeared in the majors in 2015 with the Toronto Blue Jays, in which he went 1-1, with a 6.46 ERA, 1.70 WHIP, and six strikeouts in five games (three starts, 15 1/3 innings).

He was set to start today for Binghamton.
