The New York Mets announced their 2019 Spring Training Reporting Dates on Wednesday as follows:

Pitchers & Catchers Report: February 12

First P&C Workout: February 14

Position Players Report: February 16

First Full-Squad Workout: February 18

Grapefruit League Games Begin: February 23

Opening Day: March 28 at Washington

The Mets open Grapefruit League play against the Atlanta Braves on Feb. 23. It’s the second consecutive season the Mets host the Braves in their first spring game.

The team will host the Houston Astros, Miami Marlins and Washington Nationals three times each and the St. Louis Cardinals twice. The final home spring game is March 24 against the Nationals.

The schedule also features games with the Boston Red Sox, Baltimore Orioles. Houston Astros, and Detroit Tigers of the American League.  For the second time in three years, the New York Yankees have no games scheduled with the Mets.
