Texas sent reliever Jake Diekman to Arizona (Jerry Crasnick, ESPN; Jon Heyman, FanCred) and the D-Backs also acquired Brad Ziegler from Miami in exchange for minor league righty, Tommy Eveld (Steve Gilbert, MLB.com).

Philadelphia traded for Aaron Loup, a left-handed reliever, from the Toronto Blue Jays, sending MiLB pitcher Jacob Waguespack back to the Jays (Ben Nicholson-Smith, Sportsnet.ca; Feinsand, MLB.com). The Phillies designated Trevor Plouffe for assignment to make room for Loup, as per the team.

Chris Archer went from Tampa Bay to the Pirates, in exchange for right-hander Tyler Glasnow and outfielder Austin Meadows. There is reportedly another asset going to Pittsburgh in the deal (Stephen Nesbitt, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette; Marc Topkin, Tampa Bay Times).

The Phillies acquired Wilson Ramos from the Rays for a player to be named later or cash considerations (Mark Feinsand, MLB.com).

The Mariners traded for Marlins outfielder Cameron Maybin, sending international bonus pool money and shortstop Bryson Brigman to Miami (Ryan Divish, Seattle Times; Jerry Crasnick, ESPN).

The Cardinals sent outfielder Tommy Pham and international bonus pool money to the Rays for three of the team’s top prospects, outfielder Justin Williams, left-hander Genesis Cabrera, and right-hander Roel Ramirez (Bill Chastain, MLB.com).

Early Tuesday morning, the Red Sox acquired second baseman Ian Kinsler from the Angels for minor leaguers Williams Jerez and Ty Buttrey (Ken Rosenthal, The Athletic).
