Andy Martino of SNY reports that hitting coach Chili Davis and assistant hitting coach Tom Slater have agreed to multi-year deals to return to the Mets next season.

Davis, 59, was hired by the Mets prior to the 2019 season to replace Pat Roessler. Chili Davis has also served as the hitting coach for the Oakland Athletics, Boston Red Sox, and Chicago Cubs.

Slater, 51, has been the Mets’ assistant hitting coach for the past two seasons. He previously worked in the New York Yankees’ minor league system.
