The Milwaukee Brewers and free agent reliever Matt Albers are in agreement on a two-year deal, according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic. Ben Nicholson-Smith of SportsNet reports the deal is worth $5 million.

Albers, 35, spent last season with the Washington Nationals and logged a 1.62 ERA in 61.0 innings pitched. He also had a 274 ERA+, 3.40 FIP, 0.852 WHIP and 9.3 K/9.

The 12-year veteran has spent time with the Houston Astros, Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Arizona Diamondbacks, Cleveland Indians and Chicago White Sox in his career as well.

The deal is pending a physical.
