Brett Baty went 1-for-3 with a double and scored twice as the starting third baseman for Team East in the Arizona Fall Stars Game. Baty was driven in twice by eventual game MVP, Marlins prospect JJ Bleday.
The highlight of the night for Baty was an opposite field double in the fifth. He was later driven in by Bleday in what would prove to be a crucial run in a 6-5 win for the East Fall Stars.
No other Mets were named to the Fall Stars game. The Fall League will start up again on Monday for its final week of the season.
