Mike Puma of the New York Post reports that Luis Avilan left Friday night’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers with left elbow tightness.

Avilan, 29, tossed 2/3 of an inning on against the Brewers while striking out one batter and allowing one hit. After 11 pitches, he was replaced by right-hander Drew Gagnon.

The left-hander has appeared in 11 games this season in which he has logged 10 2/3 innings pitched. In that span, he has a 9.28 ERA, 2.06 WHIP, and 11 strikeouts.
