Jose Reyes ran the bases on Sunday and looked and felt fantastic afterwards.

Manager Terry Collins was very pleased with what he saw and said Reyes looked great.

Reyes will participate in some more baseball activities today and then play a rehab game at Class A Brooklyn on Monday before rejoining the Mets on Tuesday. A final decision on Reyes will be made after Sunday’s game.

Yesterday, Jose Reyes ran at full speed, and took batting practice in what Terry Collins called “a very good rehab session.”

“It feels great. It feels better, ” said Reyes, who has been out since July 3 with a left hamstring injury.

Time for the Mets All Star shortstop to resume his unbelievable season and wreak havoc on opposing NL teams.

I can’t wait to see him leading off again on Tuesday
