At the 2026 trade deadline, the Mets acquired a new No. 1 prospect: Jefferson Rojas. Since becoming a member of the Mets organization, the 21-year-old has done nothing but hit, with Baseball America rating him the 14th-hottest player in baseball right now.
Since becoming a Met, Rojas is slashing .281/.333/.56, with four home runs and 19 RBIs across 64 at bats. If the Mets’ No. 1 prospect can keep that kind of production up, he could be on the fast track to Queens.
