According to Will Sammon of The Athletic, New York plans to recall left-hander Zach Thornton to start Friday’s game. The report also notes that Christian Scott is expected to return this weekend, allowing Kodai Senga to shift back into a bullpen role as the club continues to reshape its pitching staff.
