Per Mike Puma of the New York Post, there were thoughts that Jorge Polanco would end his rehab assignment and join the Mets in San Diego on Friday, but he is instead remaining on his rehab assignment. Polanco is thought to be close to joining the Mets and could do so on the next homestand.
