While we wait for the Subway Series to begin, the Mets’ minor league affiliates have a full slate of games today. In Syracuse, Nolan McLean will make his second Triple-A start against prized Phillies prospect Andrew Painter. You can watch that showdown on SNY.
Earlier today, Brooklyn downed the Winston-Salem Dash 4-3 thanks to a homer by Jacob Reimer and multi-hit efforts from Eli Serrano III and Carson Benge. Nate Dohm and Raimon Gomez both made their High-A debuts, with Gomez recording four outs to pick up the win. The FCL Mets downed the Astros’ squad, capitalizing on four errors and 11 walks. Daviel Hurtado, Joel Lara, and Christian Rodriguez combined to strike out 13 batters on the mound.
