AAA: Doubleheader G1: Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (36-16) 3, Syracuse Mets (15-39) 2
- J.D. Davis 3B: 0-3, 3 K, .174/.321/.348
- Khalil Lee RF: 0-1, BB, HBP, K, .264 AVG/836 OPS
- Brandon Drury 1B: 1-3, HR, .255 AVG/831 OPS
Scranton took an early led off Syracuse starter Jesus Reyes and never relinquished its lead in Game 1 of their doubleheader on Wednesday. They had the tying run on second base in the top of the sixth inning when Mason Williams was hit by a pitch and stole second base with only one out but back-to-back groundouts by Travis Blankenhorn and Drury ended the threat.
Davis played the entire seven inning game at third and went hitless in three at-bats.
Lee got on base twice in three plate appearances.
Drury stayed hot, hitting his sixth Syracuse home run of the season.
Chance Sisco‘s first hit since being claimed off waivers from Baltimore was a solo homer that pulled the Mets within a run.
Brandon Drury is a MACHINE.
His 4th HR in his last 9 games puts us on the board in Scranton.

After going hitless as a catcher in Game 1, Mazeika had three singles as the DH in Game 2.
Drury had a pop-up single and also drew a walk. After playing first base in Game 1, he moved over to third for the second game since Davis moved to the bench.

Mets number two prospect, Ronny Mauricio, sends one to the opposite field to get Brooklyn on the board in the first. This is the raw power that Ronny posses and needs to show more. Hopefully this homer will allow him to break out in the month of July. @Mets_Minors #Brooklyn pic.twitter.com/TbCFKfyjhd
