The big club already won on Wednesday with a 2-1 score over the visiting Padres. All four of the Mets’ full-season minor league affiliates are in action Wednesday evening. Jonathan Santucci will make his fourth Triple-A start for Syracuse.

6:35 PM · NBT Stadium · Worcester (62-52) vs Syracuse (60-60)

Santucci has struggled a bit to start his career in Triple-A with 5.40 ERA and 2.200 WHIP in three starts. He does have 15 strikeouts in those 10 innings.

Émilien Pitre (Peralta trade) made his Triple-A debut on Tuesday, going 2-for-4 out of the leadoff spot. Billy Amick (Minter trade) also made his Triple-A debut, going 1-for-4 with an RBI double and three strikeouts. Ronny Mauricio was the offensive star on Tuesday with three hits (including a home run), three RBIs, a walk and a stolen base in the Mets’ 5-1 win.

6:07 PM · Mirabito Stadium · Altoona (49-65) vs Binghamton (50-65)

Dakota Hawkins will take the mound for his fourth straight start and second straight with Binghamton.

The Rumble Ponies are amazin’ 14-2 in August coming off a 4-3 win over Altoona on Tuesday. Mets top prospect Jefferson Rojas (Holmes trade) had three hits, including his second home run for Binghamton. Gary Gill Hill (Peralta) was impressive with six innings of two-run ball and eight strikeouts.

6:35 PM · HomeTrust Park · Brooklyn (50-63) vs Asheville (39-74)

Impressive young right-hander Emilio Obispo gets the start for Brooklyn. The recently turned 20-year-old has a 3.15 ERA in 17 games (13 starts) this season, including a 2.92 ERA in three Brooklyn starts.

John Spikerman (Raley trade) stole the show on Tuesday night with two home runs. Going back to last season, he had gone 80 games without hitting a home run. Elian Peña made his High-A debut, going 0-for-4 with two walks.

6:10 PM – Clover Park – Lakeland (54-58) vs St. Lucie (50-64)

Ethan Lanthier gets the ball for St. Lucie to start the game. Lanthier is coming off his third straight good outing, allowing just one hit and one run in 3 2/3 innings and striking out a whopping nine.

Mets’ 2026 third round pick Aiden Robbins walked twice on Tuesday night, and his OBP through 12 pro games is .420.
