Good morning Mets fans! On Wednesday, the Mets were reportedly browsing around the catching market and also made some 40-man roster moves, along with the rest of the league.

Mets free agent starter Zack Wheeler is drawing interest from several teams including the Twins, Padres, Angels, and White Sox, per Jon Morosi of MLB Network. Morosi also projects Wheeler to receive around five-years $100 million.

According to Ken Davidoff of The New York Post, the Mets have “expressed” some interest in veteran catchers Robinson Chirinos and Drew Butera.

The Mets have added Andres Gimenez, Thomas Szapucki, Jordan Humphreys, and Ali Sanchez to their 40-man roster in order to protect them from being selected the MLB Rule 5 draft. They also designated right-hander Drew Gagnon for assignment.

MLB Pipeline announced the Mets minor league All-Stars.

Wayne Randazzo is expected to return as the Mets co-play-by-play radio announcer, per Andrew Marchand of The New York Post.
