Jason Vargas got the deGrom treatment last night! He pitched incredibly well, pitching 7.0 innings for the first time in recent memory allowing 1 run off 6 hits and 3 walks while striking out 6. The Mets gave him nothing though as the Mets lost 2-0 and the series 3-1 where they had a chance to win all 4 games. Now the Mets try to salvage the road trip with a three game series in Arizona.
