Last night was a repeat of most of the current issues with the Mets. Going into the seventh inning, the Mets had a 2-0 lead, thanks to Brandon Nimmo and a good start by Zack Wheeler.
Then the bullpen came in and promptly gave up the lead. The Mets bats tried to scratch back but it didn’t work and ultimately the Mets lost 7-4.
Tonight Jacob deGrom goes and the Mets need a win in the worst possible way as last night they dipped below .500 for the first time this season.
