The Mets had another frustrating loss last night. After an amazing first inning where the Mets put up three runs, a rarity, and a strong start from Matz, the Mets offense turned off completely and the Yankees were able to squeak by with a win. Now the Mets will try to avoid the sweep tonight with the late ESPN game without their scheduled pitcher, Noah Syndergaard. Instead, the Mets will turn to Seth Lugo and hope that they can get back into the win column.
