NL East News: Halladay To DL With Sore Shoulder

MLB.com reports that the Phillies placed Roy Halladay on the 15-day disabled list Monday because of inflammation in his right shoulder. Philadelphia recalled left-hander Joe Savery to temporarily take Halladay’s place on the 25-man roster. A replacement for Halladay’s spot in the starting rotation will be named before Friday’s game in Arizona against the Diamondbacks.
