Good Morning, Mets fans!

Last night, Walker Lockett took the mound in Philadelphia after Jacob deGrom was scratched due to neck stiffness. The Mets came up just short against the Phillies though, by a score of 6-5.

Well after the Met game ended last night, Jeff Passan of ESPN reported that a Reds player tested positive for COVID-19. This is likely to cancel Saturday’s game between the Reds and the Pirates. It is unclear how long the cancellation will last, but MLB is sure to be extra cautious this team so as to avoid another breakout.

Tonight, Steven Matz (0-3, 8.20 ERA) is scheduled to make his start against the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park. Opposing him is the Phillies’ ace RHP Aaron Nola (1-1, 2.79 ERA). The game will be televised on SNY and broadcast from WCBS 880 AM.
