The Philadelphia Phillies announced on Thursday that while no players tested positive for COVID-19, two staff members did and that all activity at Citizens Bank Park has been cancelled until further notice.

The team said that one member of the coaching staff and one from the home clubhouse tested positive.

Earlier this week, the Marlins cancelled all games and team activities after a large portion of the team tested positive. The Marlins were playing in Philadelphia when the first round of positive test results came back. Neither the Phillies or Marlins have played a game since their matchup on Sunday afternoon.

The series between the Phillies and Blue Jays for this weekend has been cancelled.

Another Marlins player tested positive on Thursday, bringing their total to 19, 17 players and two coaches.
