ATLANTA BRAVES (3-2) vs HOUSTON ASTROS (2-3)
WORLD SERIES, GAME 6: LHP Max Fried (0-1, 10.80) vs RHP Luis Garcia (0-1, 2.45)
Tuesday, Nov 2, 2021 •  Houston, TX • 8:09 p.m. ET • FOX

The series heads back to Houston where the Astros hope to stave off elimination one more night and force Game 7.

Each starting pitcher has already made one appearance in this series. Luis Garcia pitched 3.2 innings in Game 3, allowing three runs, one earned. Garcia was plagued by command issues walking four batters yet striking out six.

Fried pitched Game 2 of the series, allowing six runs over five innings. Fried gets a rematch in Houston hoping to clinch the series and hoist the trophy just like Greg Maddux, John Smoltz, and Tom Glavine did.

Stars for each team Ozzie Albies and Alex Bregman have dropped to seventh in their respective lineups. Albies, who blasted 30 home runs in the regular season, hasn’t left the ballpark in 60 postseason at-bats. Bregman’s postseason batting average is 40 points lower than his regular-season one of .270.
