As we get ready to enter the month of February in 2019, there’s still a significant amount of talent left on the free agent board. Pitchers and catchers starts reporting in less than two weeks and full squads for a few teams begin on Feb. 16.

Big-time deals happening this late in the offseason is becoming common practice with the San Diego Padres signing Eric Hosmer for eight years on Feb. 17 and J.D. Martinez going to the Red Sox on Feb. 26 last year.

The free agent market still holds the best outfielder, best infielder, best reliever, and one of the better starting pitchers that was available to begin the offseason.

Let’s take a took at the 2019 All-Free Agent Team:

Starters

Matt Wieters, C
Marwin Gonzalez, 1B
Josh Harrison, 2B
Manny Machado, SS
Mike Moustakas, 3B
Bryce Harper, OF
Denard Span, OF
Carlos Gonzalez, OF

Bench

Martin Maldonado, C
Jose Iglesias, INF
Adam Jones, OF
Curtis Granderson, OF
Derek Dietrich, UT

Starting Rotation

Dallas Keuchel, LHP
Gio Gonzalez, LHP
Wade Miley, LHP
Clay Buchholz, RHP
Jeremy Hellickson, RHP

Bullpen

Craig Kimbrel, RHP
Jake Diekman, LHP
Bud Norris, RHP
Tony Sipp, LHP
Ryan Madson, RHP
Adam Warren, RHP
Xavier Cedeno, LHP

There’s obviously a significant drop-off after the big names on this team, though there’s still value to be had with names like Gio Gonzalez and Adam Warren. Both pitchers that could help Mets GM Brodie Van Wagenen finish off the depth he’s been building during his first offseason.
