According to ESPN.com, Jose Reyes and Josh Johnson could be packing their bags to go north of the border.

Also going to Toronto would be pitcher Mark Buehrle, catcher John Buck and infielder-outfielder Emilio Bonifacio.

“Just about any (Marlins) player making money is going to Toronto,” a source told ESPN.

The Marlins are expected to acquire Yunel Escobar, Henderson Alvarez, shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria, and left-handed pitching prospect Justin Nicolino, and possibly more. There are rumors that they may also acquire J.P. Arencibia.

This looks like a giant deal in the making that will not only changing the AL East dramatically, but also the NL East.

All I have to say is, “wow.” If this happens, you have to wonder if Reyes and his agent will wish they handled things any differently with New York. Granted, there was no “official offer,” but I’ve always maintained that it takes both sides to get an offer done. I firmly believe both sides were stubborn, but in the end – Jose Reyes may end up in Toronto because of it.

In possibly the most interesting piece of this report, Giancarlo Stanton tweeted “Alright, I’m pissed off!!! Plain & Simple.”

Time to get your best Giancarlo trade package together.
