SUBWAY SERIES HOME RUNS: David Wright is tied with Mike Piazza and Cliff Floyd for the most regular season home runs by a Met against the Yankees with eight.

IKE DAVIS: Is hitting .364 (12-33) with two doubles, two home runs and 12 RBI over his last 11 games…Davis has collected at least one hit in nine of those games and has at least one RBI in six of those contests.

SCOTT HAIRSTON: Is hitting .351 (27-77) with an NL-best seven home runs against lefthanders this season…Hairston is hitting .308 (12-39) with three home runs and six RBI in 15 games this month.

KIRK NIEUWENHUIS: Is tied for second among National League rookies with 24 RBI, is second with 64 hits and 38 runs scored, is third with 20 walks and fourth with a .343 on-base percentage and a .284 batting average and ranks fifth with six home runs.

RAMON RAMIREZ: Has worked 2.0 innings allowing five hits and three runs in two rehabilitation outings for St. Lucie (A) of the Florida State League…Ramirez was placed on the 15-Day DL on May 31 with a strained right hamstring.

DAVID WRIGHT: Has an 11-game hitting streak…Wright is hitting .366 (15-41) during that span…This is Wright’s third hitting streak this season of 10 or more games…Wright joins Baltimore’s Adam Jones and San Francisco’s Angel Pagan as the only three players in the majors with three separate hitting streaks of 10 or more games…Wright also hit in 10 consecutive games from April 5-20 and in 10 games from April 24-May 4.

JONATHON NIESE: Is 2-1 with a 3.89 ERA (16 earned runs/37.0 innings) in six starts at Citi Field this season…He is  holding opponents to a .196 batting average against at home…Niese is 1-1 with a 1.80 ERA (four earned runs/20.0 innings) in four starts this month…He faced the Yankees June 10 and worked 7.0 innings, allowed seven hits, two runs (both unearned), with one walk and six strikeouts.

FRANK FRANCISCO: Has converted nine of his last 10 save chances dating back to May 14…During that span, he has posted a 1.88 ERA (three earned runs/14.1 innings) in 14 games while holding the opposition to a .188 batting average…He is tied for third in the NL with 17 saves.

METS STARTERS: Overall, Mets starters are 28-17 with a 3.49 ERA, ranking third in the majors, behind the Nationals (3.05) and Dodgers (3.13).

RONNY CEDENO: Terry Collins told WFAN today that Ronny Cedeno will be activated from the disabled list this afternoon and be in tonight’s starting lineup at shortstop. Cedeno has been on the disabled list with a strained calf. He went 5-for-29 during his rehab with Buffalo.
