What an amazing time to be a Mets fan. Everywhere you look there’s so much good to be seen. With only a little more than a month in the books, the Mets have already packed in a whole season’s worth of excitement and I’m loving every minute of it.
Very seldom does ESPN ever put a smile on my face, but they certainly did this morning. For the first time this season, I checked out their Cy Young Predictor and was stoked to see we had not one, not two, not three, but FOUR Mets pitchers in the Top 10.
I fully expected to see Mad Max and Tylor Megill, but was pleasantly surprised to find Edwin Diaz and Chris Bassitt had also made the cut. I’m wondering how many of them will make this season’s All-Star Team, all are deserving.
And on that note, can you name all 29 pitchers who were All-Stars while with the Mets?
