Monday is the deadline for teams and players to decide on options for the 2024 season. However, decisions started trickling out on Thursday after the conclusion of the World Series, and there already have been a couple of interesting names added to the free-agent pool. Former Met Seth Lugo and former World Series MVP Jorge Soler headline the players who declined or had their option declined and are now free agents.

  • RHP Seth Lugo – Declined his $7.5 million player option
  • LHP Andrew Chafin – Brewers declined their $7.25 million option
  • LHP Justin Wilson – Brewers declined their $2.5 million option
