Pleasant Good Evening is back! This time it’s episode nine with MetsMerized’s very own Tim Ryder! Jack (@jackhendon_) and I (@SamLebo14) welcome Tim to the party as we discuss Dodgers v. Rays and Mets playoff memories.
To start things off, we try our best to break down the madness of Saturday’s World Series Game Four and the play the shall henceforth be known as the Brett Phillips Play. Tim had some opinions on what should have happened.

We do our best to preview Sunday’s Game Five – as this episode was recorded a few hours before first pitch. With hindsight, we can now see which of us was right and which of us was wrong about the Tyler Glasnow versus Clayton Kershaw matchup.

And then we dive into our mailbag! We asked you guys on our Twitter, @PGEPod_MMO, which your favorite underrated Mets playoff memories were. We got lots of great answers, so thank you very much for your replies. We read off and discuss our favorites. We also talk about our favorite underrated memories.

And as always, we finish by remembering some guys! Be sure to follow Tim on Twitter @TimothyRRyder and check out his own Mets podcast, Simply Amazin’ (@SimplyAmazinPod). Enjoy this week’s episode, Mets fans!
