Per Marc Carig of The Athletic, Jeff Wilpon’s zoom call with Mets employees yesterday appeared to be his outgoing call, and included a speech with shout-outs to longtime employees, and thank you’s to Jay Horwitz. According to Carig, it appears that ownership change is coming soon.

Per Scott Soshnick of sportico.com, Jeff Wilpon discussed the highs of his ownership being the 2015 World Series, building Citi Field, and his lows as not winning as much. The Zoom call was 15-20 minutes long and appeared to be a “definite goodbye.”
