Matt Ehalt of the Record reports that the Seattle Mariners are among the teams interested in acquiring Asdrubal Cabrera from the Mets at the trade deadline.

Ehalt points out that it makes sense given the fact that Robinson Cano will not be available for the postseason since he was suspended for using PEDs.

Cabrera, who is a free agent at the end of the season, has also reportedly drawn interest from the Milwaukee Brewers and Arizona Diamondbacks, as detailed by Mark Feinsand of MLB.com

Cabrera, 32, has been good for 1.0 bWAR this season, while hitting to a .281/.334/.490 clip with 17 homers and 52 RBI.

However, his abysmal -17 DRS at second base this season will not help his trade value in the slightest.
