Rawlings Sports announced their 2018 finalists for the Gold Glove Awards at each position for the American and National Leagues on Thursday afternoon.
No players from the New York Mets made the group. It’s the Mets third straight season without a finalist, their last one was Curtis Granderson back in 2015.
For the sixth consecutive season, the SABR defensive index will account for approximately 25% of the award process, along with votes from managers and coaches.
