In their second roster move of the day, the New York Mets announced they’ve activated Brandon Nimmo from the disabled list and optioned right-hander Tyler Pill to Las Vegas.

Nimmo was placed on the DL on July 8 with a partially collasped lung. The 24-year-old outfielder is hitting .350/.458/.400 in only 20 major league at-bats om 2017.

Pill, who had pitched two innings in each of the last two days, is 0-3 with a 5.32 ERA and 1,45 through his first 22 major league innings.

Earlier on Friday, the Mets announced that Neil Walker was actviated from the DL and T.J. Rivera was placed on the DL with a partial tear of the right UCL in his elbow.
