Good morning, Mets fans!

The Mets and Red Sox split Saturday’s doubleheader at Fenway Park. The Mets defeated the Red Sox 5-4 in game one, but Boston came back to defeat New York 8-6 in game two. The rubber match is today at 7:10 p.m. on Sunday Night Baseball.

In some Mets injury news, Luis Guillorme is headed to the injured list and the Mets recalled Danny Mendick after Guillorme went down with an apparent calf injury in game one of Saturday’s doubleheader, according to Mike Puma of the New York Post. The good news on the injury front, however, is that it does not appear that Tommy Pham will need a stint on the injured list as his MRI came back “good” according to manager Buck Showalter.
