Good morning, Mets fans!

Carlos Carrasco was tagged for 10 hits and five earned runs in 2 1/3 innings as the Mets dropped their series finale against the Red Sox, 6-1. The lone highlight for the Mets in the game was Mark Canha recording three outfield assists, becoming the first Met to accomplish that since Endy Chávez on June 4, 2006.

With the trade deadline just nine days away, the Mets at 46-53 seem to be in a prime position to be sellers. ESPN’s Buster Olney reported Sunday that the Mets will likely shop Canha, Tommy Pham, and David Robertson, but plan on holding onto Max Scherzer and Justin Verlander. When asked after the game, Canha said he’s not focused on the possibility of a trade.
