The Mets won 3-0 yesterday thanks to some great pitching from Zack Wheeler and his bullpen. He also got homers from Amed Rosario and Todd Frazier to help him out.

Brandon Nimmo and David Wright rehabbed for St. Lucie last night. Wright went 2-for-4 and played seven innings. He said he plans on playing tomorrow. Nimmo went 1-for-3 with a walk and played seven innings in Centerfield.

Expect Dominic Smith in September but don’t hold your breath on Peter Alonso joining him.

The Mets signed Gerson Molina per Matt Ehalt of the Bergen Record. He’s a Cuban outfielder but not the one I wanted them to sign.
