Jacob deGrom’s streak of consecutive quality starts ended at 26. deGrom lasted only four innings and allowed six runs on Tuesday night at Citi Field. Michael ConfortoPete Alonso, and Brandon Nimmo slugged home runs in the series opener.

Tonight, the Mets wrap up their two-game series against the Twins. Right-handed pitcher Noah Syndergaard faces off against right-handed pitcher Jake Odorizzi. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. in New York and the game will be televised on SNY.
