Matt Ehalt of the Bergen Record says that Josh Byrnes is expected to interview for the GM position.

Mike Puma of the NY Post reported yesterday that Rays senior VP of Baseball Ops, Chaim Bloom, interviewed for the Mets GM job. He also adds that DeJon Watson interviewed for the gig today.

Andy Martino of SNY reported yesterday that the Mets are speaking to Mike Chernoff about their GM position.

Jon Heyman of FanCred says that Chernoff’s name is “getting hot” as a person that interests the Mets.

Anthony Dicomo of MLB.com says agents, Casey Close and Brodie Van Wagenen, could get formal interviews. He also adds that Brewers Assistant GM, Matt Arnold, has been linked to the team but has not been interviewed yet.
