Good morning Mets fans! 

 The MLB season officially starts today with the Seoul Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres! The game is currently going on right now on ESPN as of publishing. The two will play today and tomorrow morning (6 a.m. EST) in Seoul, South Korea, to kick off the MLB season. Opening Day for 28 other teams is in eight days.

In today’s Grapefruit League game against the Miami Marlins, Christian Scott, the Mets No. 5 prospect and top-ranked pitching prospect, per MLB Pipeline, will make his first start of the spring. The game starts at 1:10 p.m. and can be found on MLB Network. Scott has risen through the Mets system since being drafted in the fifth round of the 2021 draft out of Florida. Across three levels in 2022, Scott went 5-4 with a 2.57 ERA in 19 starts. In 12 starts with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, Scott pitched 62 innings, struck out 77 batters and had a 2.47 ERA. 

The Mets reassigned multiple players, headlined by outfielders Trayce Thompson and Ben Gamel to minor league camp. Evan Mazza detailed the transactions.
