According to Tim Healey of Newsday, the MLB 2020 Draft will be held on two networks: MLBNetwork and ESPN/ESPN2 on June 10 and June 11. On June 10, the first round and the competitive balance round A will be on MLBN and ESPN, and then on June 11 they will air the remaining four rounds of the draft.

Jeff Passan of ESPN reported that the Minnesota Twins are committing to paying their minor league players $400 a week as a stipend which includes their health insurance benefits, through August 31. That date is about the time the minor league season would end anyways. Additionally, the Minnesota Twins do no plan on releasing any minor league players in their organization according to Passan, all players in their farm system will be paid the $400 stipend.

Jon Heyman also reported that the Kansas City Royals will be paying their minor leaguers for the entire year and will not be releasing any of their players.

Heyman then reported that the Arizona Diamondbacks have released 64 players from their organization.

Steve Adams of MLBTR posted an article talking about the teams who have released a significant amount of players thus far and those who will be in the near future.

Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reported that the Seattle Mariners have released more than 30 minor league players. It was later reported from Robert Murray of The Score that over 50 players had been released by the organization.

Maddie Lee of NBC Sports Chicago announced that the Chicago Cubs have released 30 minor league players. The full list of Chicago’s minor leaguers can be found on J.J .Cooper of Baseball America’s Twitter.
