Good morning, Mets fans!

The Mets continue to invest heavily in their future. Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports the Mets held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new $10 million development complex in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic, funded by owner Steve Cohen. That structure is now fully operational, christened on Thursday by a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The facility features a centerpiece that includes a 10,000-square-foot weight room and a nutrition bar. It also boasts a 16,900-square-foot turf agility field, an expanded training room with hot and cold plunge pools, an open-air batting cage extension, a remodeled clubhouse, classrooms for educational programs and 18 suite-style bedrooms designed for players.
